The Alpha Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated coordinate and organize programs and servrice projects annually that align with the following nationally mandated programs and special projects:

The Alpha Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated is also responsible for the following annual service programs:
Lowden E. Anderson, Sr. Science Fair
Begun under the leadership of Brother Lowden E. Anderson, Sr., a retired middle school teacher, Alpha Pi Lambda sponsors the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Science Fair Project for high school students. This sponsorship is made possible through a partnership the chapter has with Dudley Products, Inc. Members of the Fraternity also act as judges for the Science Fair.
Adopt A Highway
Alpha Pi Lambda's community service extends to the State's "Adopt a Highway" program. The chapter is responsible for having the city rename one of its main thoroughfares, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The chapter "adopted" this street and is responsible for its clean up. Alpha Pi Lambda has been involved with the Adopt a Highway program for the past 15 years.
The Kennedy Evening of Elegance
The chapter also annually volunteers to provide transportation for The Kennedy Evening of Elegance which raises money for the United Negro College Fund.
As Servants Of All, the chapter is reaching out to others in our financial contributions. Financial contributions are made annually to the United Negro College Fund, local YMCA, and the George F. Newell Scholarship Fund at Winston-Salem Sate University.
